Contribution Rules
Please note:
- 01Only individuals who are normally residents of Ontario may contribute.
- 02Contributions must come from your own personal funds.
- 03Corporations, businesses, trade unions, and organizations cannot contribute.
- 04Maximum contribution to one candidate: $1,200
- 05Maximum contribution to all candidates on the same municipal council: $5,000
- 06Municipal campaign contributions are not tax deductible.
By submitting a contribution, you confirm that you are eligible to contribute under Ontario law and that the contribution is being made from your own funds.
